1. How does Supergene protect my privacy?

We, Supergene Inc., understand the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you on how we use the information we collect and how we protect your data.

2. I don’t want to play OMG anymore. How do I remove this game?

From your News Feed, click on your profile photo found on the top right of the screen. Click on Settings & Privacy. Then click on Settings and go to Security and login. Choose Apps and Websites.

Click the Remove button beside the name of the app you want to remove.

Mark the checkbox on the pop up if you want to delete game history. Click Remove.

1. General

This Privacy Policy was developed with your (hereinafter referred to as the “user”, “users”, “you” or “your”) ease of understanding in mind. Supergene Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Supergene”, “we”, or “our”) develops and publishes Facebook Instant Games. This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use OMG (hereinafter referred to as “OMG”, or “service”) which is owned by Supergene. This Privacy Policy describes the methods of collection and protection of the user’s data and other such pertinent information.

We, Supergene Inc., understand the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you on how we use the information we collect and how we protect your data.

This Privacy Policy is available for perusal at all times. Should there be any changes or amendments to this Privacy Policy, OMG will notify the user by posting the amended version on this site.

2. Information collected while the user plays OMG
2.1 To use the Service, the user may log in through their Facebook Messenger account. Through this log in process, OMG collects the following information:

2.1.1 The user’s game-scoped ID
2.1.2 The user’s Facebook Messenger user ID
2.1.3 The user’s language setting
2.1.4 The timestamp of when the user last accessed the application

2.2 Personal information that identifies the user such as name and profile picture are NEVER stored or cached anywhere, but only used to create customized user experience such as personalized share images.

2.3 In order to manage the information OMG receives through Facebook, the user must follow the instructions provided by Facebook for modifying said user’s information and privacy settings. The privacy management tools for applications on Facebook can be found at https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications&ref=settings.

3. Advertisements shown in OMG

OMG may contain advertisements from companies other than Supergene that may link to their own websites, online services, or mobile applications. Supergene is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these services from the advertisements. If you have any question about how these services use your information, users should review their policies, and contact them directly.

4. Push Notifications

4.1 Users are provided information about OMG and pertinent content through messages sent through Facebook Game Messenger Bots (hereinafter referred to as “push notifications”).

4.2 Push notifications are sent through Facebook messenger, and are set with consent from the user. If the user chooses to turn messages on, User can receive the push notifications. The user’s browser and/or app and/or device must also support such push notifications. In order to facilitate the delivery of such push notifications, OMG must store the user’s game-scoped ID, Facebook messenger user ID, user’s language setting, and timestamp of last access which are all provided when the user plays the game for the very first time.

4.3 The user may choose to opt out of the push notification service at any time by disabling the function through their Facebook Messenger settings or,

4.3.1 Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications.
4.3.2 Choose the app you want to stop receiving notifications from.
4.3.3 Click the View and Edit button.
4.3.4 Click the bell found on the top right corner.
4.3.5 Choose Turn Off.

5. User’s Right to Revoke Data Access

5.1 Users can always choose to remove the game from their list of active Instant Games which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications.

5.2 Upon revoking data access, OMG will not be able to make additional requests for user data or send messages to the user.

5.3 Users may also opt to delete their game history on Facebook for OMG by following these steps:

5.3.1 Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications&ref=settings.
5.3.2 Choose the game you want to remove.
5.3.3 Click the Remove button.
5.3.4 A pop-up message will appear. Check the box to delete game history. Click Remove.

5.4 If the user has removed OMG in their list of active apps, rest assured that all history and data of the user playing OMG has been removed already. If the user has any more concerns about our Services, the user can contact us anytime at [email protected].

6. Office in Charge of Protection of Information

6.1 To facilitate the protection of information and process related complaints, OMG designates an officer in charge of personal information protection.

6.2 Should the user have any concern regarding their personal information, they may report it to the aforementioned officer. The OMG team will review such concerns and provide a response.

6.3 The user is obliged to provide sufficient and accurate information so that their concerns may be evaluated properly. OMG may ask the user to provide additional information as a condition for the evaluation of their concern.
